In 1831, a 25 year old French aristocrat named Alexis de Tocqueville toured the young U.S. nation for 9 months. After this, he published his insightful thoughts and observations about the U.S. in a book entitled “Democracy in America”.

Jack Woehr, a long time denizen of the world of Computer Programming, has been recently touring the new world of Quantum Computing. He has just posted in his blog a 3 part series (Aug 11, 12, 19) on the ion trappers of the Colorado-NIST.
