The Sacred Honor Bond Among Plagiarists

Filed under: Uncategorized — rrtucci @ 2:57 am

Check out the following paper on d-separation in quantum Bayesian networks (qbnets). This one again does not cite my almost 20 years of work on qbnets or my 7 year old paper on d-separation in qbnets. To be fair, its authors do show solidarity with their fellow plagiarists Joe Henson, Raymond Lal and Matthew F. Pusey by citing their 2 week old paper.

Pienaar and Brukner proudly proclaim themselves to be members of the Physics Faculty of the University of Vienna, where, I guess, nobody is overly judgemental and it’s fine if you are a plagiarist Herr Professor Doktor.

  1. No like! There’s no way two separate groups of such craven plagiarists could simultaneously just pop out of thin air in two geographic locations. Classical Bayesian analysis tells me there must be an underlying causal factor. Probably Seth Lloyd.

  2. No Max, I don’t think Seth Lloyd has anything to do with this. We must judge each man or woman or University or Academy of Sciences for its own actions.

  3. The University of Vienna is not noted for its high ethical standards. Here is a photo taken from a webpage of the US Holocaust Memorial Museum Website. Their caption for this photo is: “Nazis block Jews from entering the University of Vienna. Austria, 1938.— National Archives and Records Administration, College Park, Md.”

  4. The day you will stop moaning and start fighting back will be a marvellous and unique entrance into the path of true understanding..

  5. Just noticed that the Henson et al. paper now contains a reference to your 1995 paper.
