On 2016, the quantum open source community will finally prevail, and you will see why future quantum computer software won’t be like “1984”

  1. Still thinking Microsoft as the ultimate evil? Ah, my friend you ‘ve been duped!

They are only another pawn in the overall game…

  2. When I first started programming, I was a big Apple fan. But then gradually I realized Apple, Microsoft, Google, Facebook, Twitter, IBM, etc., they all have their good and evil sides. Nowadays, I don’t really have favorites. So no, I don’t think MS is the ultimate evil. Actually, I rather like the XBox, Surface, and Hololens. And l like Dave W. and Matthias T., the two main minds behind Liqui|>. I just think it should be open source.

  3. Well open source sounds fine, I used to believe that too until one day I realized there was no way I could prevent the “bad guys” getting a hold on it and transmuting it in unforeseen ways! Why do you think, people are playing such games like “Chikada” or the gchq challenges people once in a while like previous Christmas to solve puzzles? The real question I am afraid is whether we are building our own Krell machine that will eventually swallow us!

  4. >> Carly Fiorina

The former leader of a computer company, who saw a video with her own eyes which does not exist ?

    >> Quantum Carly Fiorina

The leader of a quantum computer company which does not exist (yet) ?

  5. Hi Wolfgang. The analogy between the 2 Carly Fiorinas goes even further, but people will have to find out for themselves how this is so by comparing their records.

What I like about this analogy is that unless I say whether I like Classic Carly Fiorina or not, it is impossible to tell whether I am flattering or insulting Quantum Carly Fiorina. My lips are sealed.

  6. >> impossible to tell
    a superposition …

Btw and completely unrelated (?!): I think The Donald is the first quantum candidate for president, with his superposition of |Dem> + |Rep> but also |dumb> + |smart> and of course |nationalist> + |socialist> …

  7. Last time we heard about |nationalist> + |socialist> it was sort of like this…
